John Gaul, MBB
With 35 years of business consulting, engineering, quality and process improvement experience; John Gaul has provided hands-on consulting and project leadership, helping countless companies quickly become more effective and efficient. John has also trained and mentored over 2,000 problem-solving practitioners across a broad spectrum of industries in both transactional and manufacturing sectors. Always focused on results, he has partnered with clients and companies to achieve untold millions in benefits while also insourcing capability and teaching them to do it on their own. John is experienced in operational excellence, innovation and design, business transformation, advanced statistical analysis and modeling. He is also a contributing author to The Innovator’s Toolkit: 50+ Techniques for Predictable and Sustainable Organic Growth. Early in his career, John launched new engineering departments, conducted advanced process analyses, demystified chronic quality problems and developed new product applications. At Molded Fiber Glass Companies, he managed quality and advanced engineering projects that saved the company millions and doubled the revenues of the business unit supplying the Corvette C6, Cadillac Luxury Roadster and Dodge Viper car models. At Thomas Steel Strip Corp., he co-led a team that solved a 25-year-old quality problem and saved the company over $1 million in annual scrap and rework. John was also a quality and process engineering manager at Premix Inc. for 10 years. For the past 17 years, John has been applying and sharing his knowledge via consulting, training and mentoring with problem-solving practitioners all over the world. John holds a B.S. in Applied Science and Civil Engineering Technology from Ohio’s Youngstown State University. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lean Master and Quality Engineer.
