TIMOTHY “TIM” CLAPP, Ph.D.

Tim has more than 30 years of academic, industrial, and consulting experience, and has developed operational excellence programs for academic, healthcare, industrial and transactional organizations. He served 26 years on the faculty at North Carolina State University. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Tim has developed and taught the spectrum of topics in the Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge and coached/evaluated more than 200 projects for Green Belt, Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification. He holds the Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University.
